Quality we care about
We choose our materials carefully and check our products before they leave for your home.
A note from Ingo, founder of the Tornado Blender Company
I’m happy you’re here. I’d like to share how I became passionate about blending, and why I decided to develop the TORNADO High-Performance Blender.
After moving from Germany to the United States, a friend took me to Costco in Los Angeles. We stopped to watch a Vitamix demonstration, and I was amazed. I’d thought blenders were mostly for shakes. Watching one make frozen treats and even hot soup opened up a whole new world of possibilities.
Then I saw the price: almost $500. I really wanted one, but I couldn’t justify spending that much, so I walked away.
Over the next two years, I tried several less expensive blenders. None came close to what I had seen. Later, after moving to Las Vegas, a neighbor who sold Vitamix helped me buy one. I loved what it could do.
What started as a personal project - building a better blender just for myself - gradually evolved into something more. As the prototype improved, I realized that it could be something others would appreciate too.
There were setbacks and moments when I doubted I could make it work, but I kept going, and the blender became something I’m proud of - exceeding what I had imagined at the start.
I’m directly involved in our product design and development. Our team assembles and tests the blenders at our Las Vegas facility using carefully sourced components, most of them from suppliers in China.
We choose our materials carefully and check our products before they leave for your home.
I’ve always wanted the warmth of a small local store to be part of our business. You can call or text us, ask questions, and talk to people who know the blender.
If something eventually wears out or breaks, our goal is to help you repair your TORNADO, not replace it. We offer spare parts and low-cost repairs even after your warranty ends.
I was born and raised in Germany and moved to the United States in 2010, at the age of 25. My father runs an aluminum foundry in a small town in northern Germany. Growing up, I helped out here and there, and that experience sparked my appreciation for high-quality products, materials, and the work that goes into making them.
My father encouraged me to explore a different field and broaden my skills, so I studied business and restaurant management in Hannover, Germany.
I've wanted to run my own business for as long as I can remember. At seven, I dreamed of selling bratwurst on a busy street. At eleven, I wanted to open a go-kart track. By my early twenties, I was planning and designing my own restaurant concept. After moving to the United States, my path gradually shifted from restaurants to retail, eventually leading me to start this company in Las Vegas.
In running this company, I get to bring my interests together. Those include quality products and materials, personal customer service, and the satisfaction of offering something people enjoy using. As the person behind this company, I want you to feel confident about both the blender you buy and the support you can count on afterward.
I hope your TORNADO becomes a much-loved part of your family’s kitchen. Thank you for visiting our website and considering our blender.

Best wishes,
Ingo
